As the Part-Time CIO , you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy and ensuring the successful execution of our IT initiatives. You will work closely with our executive team and cross-functional departments to drive innovation, enhance our technology infrastructure, and maintain our commitment to excellence.
- Technology Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with our business objectives. Provide leadership in assessing emerging technologies and their potential impact on the company.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of our technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Data Security: Establish and maintain robust data security and privacy protocols. Protect sensitive company and customer information from cyber threats and breaches.
- Software Development: Collaborate with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Evaluate contracts, negotiate terms, and optimize costs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Compliance and Regulation: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and ensure the company's technology practices remain compliant.
- Proven experience as a CIO or similar role in a technology-driven environment, ideally within startups or fast-growing companies.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software development.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technology trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
