As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Part-Time CEO to lead their team and drive sustainable growth.
The Part-Time CEO will serve as the highest-ranking executive in the company, responsible for the overall management, strategy, and growth of the business. This role is ideal for an accomplished leader with significant experience in the insurance industry, looking to provide strategic direction while working on a part-time basis. The CEO will collaborate closely with the board of directors, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure the company’s long-term success and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company’s long-term vision and strategy, aligned with market trends and business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities, including new markets, services, and partnerships.
- Oversee risk management strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and business sustainability.
- Operational Oversight:
- Monitor company performance through key metrics and ensure that goals are met or exceeded.
- Streamline operations to improve profitability and customer service quality.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment of business objectives across sales, marketing, underwriting, claims, and other critical areas.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective cost management while maximizing profitability.
- Work with the CFO and finance team to develop sustainable growth strategies.
- Team Development and Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor the senior leadership team, fostering a positive and results-driven culture.
- Build organizational capacity by ensuring effective talent development, recruitment, and retention.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Stakeholder Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company in public and media relations efforts.
- Proven experience as a CEO, COO, or senior executive within the insurance industry (10+ years preferred).
- Deep understanding of the insurance brokerage landscape, including trends, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with strategic financial planning.
- Proven ability to grow a company through strategic partnerships, mergers, or acquisitions.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions with limited oversight.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (MBA or similar advanced degree preferred).
- Competitive salary (commensurate with experience). £150K pro-rata
