Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and highly skilled Director of Finance to lead and manage the financial operations of the company. Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
    • Prepare financial forecasts and scenario analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
  • Cash Flow & Risk Management:
    • Manage cash flow, ensuring the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations and support growth initiatives.
    • Oversee risk management processes, including managing foreign exchange risk, credit risk, and interest rate risk.
    • Collaborate with the treasury team to optimize working capital, investment strategies, and debt management.
  • Cost Management & Profitability:
    • Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
    • Analyze cost structures and identify areas for savings or operational improvements.
    • Develop strategies to improve margins while maintaining high standards of service and product delivery.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
    • Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring that financial controls and procedures are robust and effective.
    • Stay updated on changing financial regulations and implement necessary changes within the organization.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of finance staff to ensure a high-performing finance department.
    • Promote collaboration across departments to ensure financial alignment with business operations.
  • Investment & Capital Management:
    • Advise on investment strategies, capital allocation, and financing opportunities to support the company’s growth initiatives.
    • Work with senior leadership to evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic financial decisions.
    • Monitor capital expenditures and ensure investments align with long-term business objectives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, such as Director of Finance, Head of Finance, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting at a high level.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
